Description
Shocksafe Insulated Fibreglass Pick Shaft. Pultruded fibreglass core with an injection moulded polypropylene outer. BS Standard 3″ x 2″ eye.
Tested and made in conformance with BS8020:2011, Tools for live working.
This shaft is designed to be a tap on fit, however when fitting a replacement shaft, the eye should be dressed to suit the hammer head by a competent person.
Testing
BS8020:2011 is an exacting specification that demands full adherence to detailed manufacturing and testing procedures for safe working practices to be maintained by the user when working on or in close proximity to live conductor cables. Every single tool is flash detected to 10,000 Volts before the issue of a certificate, unique to each implement.
